My Approach & Philosophy
Terra Vera Wellness draws from the Latin roots of its name: Terra, meaning “earth” or “ground,” and Vera, meaning “true” or “genuine.” The therapeutic journey involves grounding oneself to engage in honest conversation, creating a clear and stable foundation from which to begin the work towards wellness and self-discovery.

Guidance Grounded in Genuine Connection
I'm Terri, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Connecticut. I work primarily with young adults, adults, and older adults. I have experience working with individuals experiencing difficulties with life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, and substance use concerns.
My path to becoming a therapist began with following my own personal journey of receiving guidance to strengthen my resilience, learn about myself, and the things I needed to work on to cope and build my life worth living. I do this work because I know its impact. My practice is focused on working together to unpack, establish goals, and integrate effective skills to address concerns.
